             Job Responsibilities:

Medical Information:   

1. Respond (verbal and written) to unsolicited technical/medical questions from healthcare professionals and internal customers by the retrieval, evaluation and presentation of high quality information using in-house and external sources in a timely and efficient manner  
2. Use and adapt global standard responses and generate new UCB China standard responses in line with the relevant SOPs   
3. Acquire and maintain therapy areas and products knowledge and expertise   
4. Contribute to internal monthly reports/metrics which includes relevant information regarding queries received and resolved within MI Department for distribution to other UCB departments   
5. Maintain the scientific MI platform for internal share of literatures, FAQ, Standard Documents     

Pharmacovigilance:    

1. Manage, collect, record and file all Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) received in the country on investigational drugs and marketed products according to Patient Safety SOPs, local SOPs and local Health Authorities regulations  
2. Provide assistance in reporting to the Regulatory Authorities, ICSRs, aggregate reports and any other information that should be reported according to internal proceedings, and local laws and regulatory requirements   
3. Act as backup in the absence or unavailability of the Affiliate Safety Leader or Deputy.  

Admin:   

1. Support Safety and Medical Information department finance and administration activity such as payment, agreement archiving, meeting organization, electronic and hardcopy filing etc. 

Education:

Bachelor's degree

Experience:

Previous R&D or industry experience as an advantage
